Genome Valley was accorded the Industrial Area Local Authority (IALA) status in 2018 by the Government of Telangana, which enables companies to accelerate their infrastructure and development activities through a single window clearance mechanism.
As a result, Genome Valley is seeing rapid expansion with over 250,000 sq ft of laboratory space being added every year. Following its resounding success and recognition as a global powerhouse for the Life Science industries, Genome Valley continues to expand its presence and business operations cost-efficiently.
Genome Valley
Genome Valley was built in 1999 via a public-private partnership model with the objective of establishingknowledge-based business park. The cluster's evolution into a hub for prominent life sciences organisations to establish their R&D infrastructure has been made possible by the support of the Government of Telangana.
The cluster, located in the vicinity of Hyderabad and spanning over 25 sq km, provides top-notch infrastructure that enables the establishment of Knowledge Parks, Special Economic Zones (SEZs), Multi-tenanted Life Sciences centers, incubation facilities, as well as exceptional spaces and amenities. With more than 200 companies present, Genome Valley encourages collaboration and synergy across various Life Sciences sectors such as Biotechnology, Agri-biotech, Clinical Research Management (CRM), Biopharma, Vaccine Manufacturing, and other related domains.
